First Year Junior College Online Admissions

First Year Junior College (FYJC) is class XI in which students take admission after clearing Class X examination of Maharashtra State SSC Board or an equivalent examination. Admission is solely based on marks obtained in Class X board exam.

Earlier the entire process of taking admission was manual in which students and their parents used to run from college to college to fill the admission form and take admission. It was extremely hectic for admission seeker and college administration.

By eliminating the manual paper work, the online admission method has simplified the admission to FYJC in Mumbai. With the online form, a student can apply to more than 150 colleges at one go. Apart from this, it provides a platform for counseling, allotment, admission, cancellation and complaint redressal. The online application is available in both English and Marathi.

Last year, more than 3,00,000 students used the online admission portal to take admission in more than 700 colleges of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
