EU - School Educations.com Business

This ranking of business schools was conducted by , a French firm (Eduniversal) whose aim is to provide interested students with information which will help them in their decision as to their future school.

The process begins with the selection of 1000 business schools from over 150 countries in nine geographic zones (Cyprus falls within the Western Europe zone). The selection of these 1000 schools is based on research work by an International Scientific Committee which reviews and analyzes data from global, national and regional education systems.

The ranking to identify the best schools is based on recommendations from the deans of the 1000 business schools selected. The Deans of these business schools are asked to recommend which of these they would recommend to students planning to study locally or abroad.

Studies are organized in semesters, and subjects taught are counted in credits. The Council of Ministers decided to proceed with the establishment of two state universities: the University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Open University of Cyprus and appointed two interim Governing Boards to do so. The first university level achieved in 4years allow students to have the Ptychio (Bachelor degree), then in one or two years complete a post-graduate program, the Masters Degree. After that, students can pursue their studies for three additional years and get a Doctorate or PhD.
