How to write a proposal for an analytical report

Analytical reports offer both information analysis and can also include recommendations

Informational reports offer data, facts, feedback, and other types of information, without analysis or recommendations

The difference between the two reports is that analytical reports offer analysis and recommendations, while informational reports do not

Writing analytical reports are more challenging than writing informational reports Analytical Report There are several steps to writing reports or a proposal:

Analyzing the situation, gathering information, selecting the right medium and organizing your information.

The complexity of most reports requires the magnitude of input work to increase- preparation starts with the fundamental to analyze the situation carefully.

The report is useful only if defines your purpose and often addresses a predetermined need and must meet the specific audience's expectations.

Tip: To plan effectively, address awareness of the problem or the opportunity with a clear statement of purpose that defines why you are preparing the report. Asses opportunities-
Explains the risks and rewards of choosing a course of action (market analysis reports, due diligence reports)

Solve problems-

Judges the merits of past or future decisions (feasibility reports, justification reports)
