I’m planning on getting a job this summer, and I was wondering what taxes would be deductible from my pay check, just to get a rough idea of my actual earnings. I’ll be working in the state of Illinois by the way. Thanks!

    You can calculate the approximate rate below. Just figure out how much a year you think you will make. Then go to the state and figure the same thing from the table.
    or you can just wait. It will not be a lot, but probably figure 20% all in. At the end of the year, you will probably get it all back, or most of it.
