​OUR MISSION: At Northwest Elementary School, we will challenge and empower all students to be independent thinkers, lifelong learners, and responsible citizens. 

HISTORY: Northwest Elementary School, home of the Mustangs is located in the city of Lexington, and positioned in Davidson County. The school originally opened in 1974 and has one addition to the builing done in 1995. In 2001, the school was divided when Friedberg Elementary was built.
